LEO ORIENTATION

No. of Leos hours : 6 Leos X 1.5 hours = 9 hours
This was the 3rd project of the day. The Leos had decided a month before that the Leo Orientation should be held on the same day as the Kidney Health Check, so that the Leos could take full advantage of the large number of students who participated in the Kidney Health Check.
Leo Gan Jin Ni had successfully delegated tasks which included photocopying, advertising, contacting new member, preparation of PowerPoint presentation and purchasing of materials. All the Leos worked together to achieve this.
The Leo Club of KDU PJ invited our sponsoring Lions Club, the Lions Club of KL Taman Tun to the orientation so that they could meet new members and speak at the orientation. The Lions that came were Club President Lion Eric, Leo Club of SMK DU advisor Lion Chu, Leo Club of KDU PJ founder Lion Irene and her husband Lion Allen.
The Leo orientation was organized so that new members would be taught about the Leo Club whilst old members will benefit by reinforcing their understanding and knowledge about Leo Club. This was also organized so that other students of the college would have an idea as to what the club is about
The Leos worked very well together to organize this orientation where delegation was widely used amongst all the members.
