The Leos had decided the day before during the club meeting as to who would be manning the booths at which time. Leo Li Wern was tasked with decorating the board which the club used for advertising. Leos Aisha, Li Wern, Sin Sam, Jin Ni and Vincent arrived at KDU at 8.30 where they worked together to set up the booth. Throughout the day, most of the Leos took charge of the booth during their time, while others did more than specified.

Leo Siong Hooi bought sweets which were given out to the new members as a sign of appreciation. Pamphlets were also given out with details and the history about the Leo Club. Each Leo who was manning the booth also explained to students about what the Leo Club represents and the benefits of becoming a Leo. Membership fees were collected then and at each time, 2 Leos were present at the booth.

This Recruitment Drive benefited the KDU students, especially the new students who were not involved in any clubs. It also provided the students who were looking for a platform to do community service. The Leos themselves benefited as they met many different types of students, and welcomed them to share the Leo experience.

The main objective of this project was to recruit more members into the Leo Club. This would definitely help the club contribute more to the community and therefore achieve its main objective which is to serve all.

In this project, we recruited 20 new members.

LEO CLUB OF KDU PJ

I've come to believe that each of us has a personal calling that's as unique as a fingerprint - and that the best way to succeed is to discover what you love and then find a way to offer it to others in the form of service, working hard, and also allowing the energy of the universe to lead you.
