The Leos met up at the concourse area outside cafeteria and set up the cold drinks stall at 12.00 p.m.

The Leos were briefed by President Leo Joshua Tan and the six Leos present were then separated into two groups. The first group consists of Leo Vincent Goh, Leo Bon Siong Hoi, Leo Gan Jin Ni and Leo Joshua Tan. The four Leos were assigned to go around the college and promote the cold drinks. Meanwhile, Leo Loretta Toon and Leo Lim Kee Cynn were in the stall, selling drinks to customers while the other one do the packaging of the drinks.

The cold drink was made up of a mixture of F&N grape, ice, mineral water, and Nata de coco. It was nice as described by the customers.

Besides selling drinks for fund-raising, we managed to attract a number of students in the KDU College to join Leo Club, like Kathleen and Saw Siew Wei. We also incorporated the purpose of building up international relationship through this project by promoting our club amongst international students such as from China, Singapore and Africa whilst selling drink. We have invited them to join our club meetings and projects.

The net profit for this project is RM 47.70. This money would be used to fund our children project after our final exams. Though such profit may seem little, this project has strengthened the bonds between the BOD, recruited few members including foreigners and also widened our social network with international students.

All the work was done by 4 p.m. After that, all the Leos headed home.

LEO CLUB OF KDU PJ

I've come to believe that each of us has a personal calling that's as unique as a fingerprint - and that the best way to succeed is to discover what you love and then find a way to offer it to others in the form of service, working hard, and also allowing the energy of the universe to lead you.
